Animagination Art Camp Since the summer of 2000, YOU has provided an intensive three-day practice experience for a 30- 35 teen-aged foster youth designed to improve their art skills in a camp environment. Participants learn drawing, story and character creation, teamwork, and responsibility as they work together to create specific art projects, ranging from wall-sized murals to individual animated films. Staffed with professionals from the animation and graphic arts industries, campers also have fun in camping experiences such as boating, hiking, and campfires. Animagination’s goal is to provide its students with the skills, knowledge, and self-esteem to obtain careers in animation and the graphic arts. Below is a resource of schools which offer further study. Financial aid is available at all of these schools to deserving students.
